Yesteryear Collection - Consolidated Motor Lines Ltd

Another release in 1985 was the Consolidated Motor Lines Ltd. version.
The Consolidated Mack was packed in a Limited Edition box.

Released as a Limited Edition of 65.000 models.

Livery: (Tampo)
'CONSOLIDATED' in reddish brown with black outline on both sides of truck.
'MOTOR LINES LTD' in black on black outlined strip, all on reddish brown square with 'MOTOR TRANSPORT' in reddish brown. all within a reddish brown scroll on both sides of truck.
'MOTOR TRANSPORT' in reddish brown and brown square on both cab doors.
Red coachlines on cab rear panels.
Mack logo in black within red coachlines on front of bonnet.

Variations/Rarities: The Consolidated Motor Transport version was painted either a bright yellow or a slightly darker yellow.
The truck was fitted with a windscreen and it had a new dropside body which was fitted with a plastic canvas canopy roof which can be either dark tan or pale olive green.
Many colour trial tilts have been recorded including peppermint green, reddish brown and yellow but none were released on production models.

Interesting Facts: The 'Consolidated' model was fitted with a windscreen component and a small lug was cast on the underside of the cab roof against which the top of the windscreen was located. This tool modification meant that all subsequent issues of the Mack truck, including later issues of the 'Acorn' had this lug.
